I and Sir Jorge are walking in Eastwood this afternoon; looking for a good place to eat. We’re considering eating in Pancake House or Country Style. We chose Country Style so we decided to go back to Cybermall.

At City Walk 2, my attention was caught by two utility guys who are cleaning the blocks in City Walk of Fame (in front of Heaven and Eggs). I tried to read who are those artists on the blocks and to surprise me, Oh! it’s Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes. Oh no! I can’t stop myself to react and start wondering how come that these twowere included in the list.

I started questioning what are basis of selecting artists who will be given such honor. I feel the two are not deserving (especially Marian Rivera). Marian Rivera leveled with great and famous actors, actresses and personalities in the country like Judy Ann Santos and Manny Pacquiao? I’m not convinced. I don’t think she’s good and famous enough to be counted as one.

I would be glad to see names of Charise Pempengco and Arnel Pineda in the Walk of Fame, but Marian Rivera, forgive me but it’s really annoying.

Whatever the criteria in choosing this people who will be given honor through the Walk of Fame, whoever selects them, please..please…please…choose those who are really deserving.
