Recaptcha and Codeigniter

Wow! This is my first time to implement reCaptcha ‘coz I really have to. For some reasons (that I still don’t know and don’t have plan to know it anymore ^ __ ^), the captcha plugin of CodeIgniter isn’t working in one of our hosting provider (it’s 5Dollarhosting..Sssshhhhh!).

I have already wasted my trying to re-upload the whole application, tested..tested…tested. Still, I didn’t succeed. As a workaround(not really workaround, a solution), I decided to change the captcha and tried the famous reCAPTCHA. I started 11pm and 11:50, I’m completely done(tested and uplaoded to the live site). Wow! In less than an hour. I can’t believe it!

Big thanks to the Codeigniter Community specifically to vendiddy for his very comprehensive tutorial.

Big thanks also to Blazeme for the very good documentation.

Thank God! I had my FIRST reCaptcha-Codeigniter implementation.
