I’ve been craving for ginataang kuhol since I saw one in Banchetto at Megatent and missed to buy one. Then Best mentioned to me about a carinderia in Oranbo, Pasig that serves it. After few minutes of searching over Google, Wow!  I found some blogs that talks about this yummy thing and the Caruz Eatery that serves “lutong bahay” dishes. Caruz Eatery is located just in front of Rosal Hotel in Capt. Henry St. (near Victoria Court Hillcrest).

Shrimps…shrimps…shrimps…

Buttered Garlic Shrimp

Ingredients:
1/2 kg medium size shrimp
1/4 cup Butter
3 cloves of garlic (minced and finely chopped)
1 cup Sprite
1 tsp salt

Procedure:
1.  Melt butter in a pan.
2. Sautee garlic until golden brown.
3. Add shrimps and salt then mix.
4. Pour Sprite and bring to boil over low fire.
5. Cook until sauce is thick then serve.

I found my new love: CULINARY ARTS

Bhee falling in love again? Yeah. I’m in love with culinary arts – the art of cooking (from Wikipedia). I just got an interest to learn preparing foods and drinks like shake, salads, pasta, steak, and the like.

Everything started with a project plan that supposedly started early this year. A personal project, an investment that is to purchase kitchen utensils and cooking equipments. I thought it will just be a plan this year and probably become a reality next year. But then, because of being so exhausted and my desire to do something new and different not related with my current work, this idea pops in my mind the other night. How about trying to learn cooking and preparing special foods during weekend?
