26 Oct 2010Few minutes more before 102710, still counting and waiting. Pretending to be working but deep inside reflecting.
It was the most adventurous year ever — diverted my attention to other stuff like mountaineering, rock and wall climbing, zip-line, get-aways here and there. Overcoming my physical limitations and fears is one of my greatest personal achievement.

15 Oct 2010“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” – Albert Einstein
“The best years of your life are the ones in which you decide your problems are your own. You do not blame them on your mother, the ecology, or the president. You realize that you control your own destiny.” – Albert Ellis
“The trouble with not having a goal is that you can spend your life running up and down the field and never score.” – Bill Copeland Read the rest of this entry »

May pang-tag-ulan, pang-tag-araw, pang-taglamig, pang-opisina, panggala, pang-jogging, pambundok, panlakad, pampalengke, pang-formal, pang-casual at pang-rampa. Iba-iba ang kulay – puti, itim, pula, dilaw, rosas, berde at may parang rainbow pa. Read the rest of this entry »

7 Oct 2010Sometimes, we talk too much that we don’t realize we overstate the real message that we want to tell. However, there are times we talk so less that we’re not able to express enough what’s necessary.
This happens many times in our daily communication with different people around in different media – conversation, tweet, shout out, blog, call, chat and other forms. Many times when we talk much, we already speak curse instead of blessings; pain instead of happiness; hatred instead of forgiveness; problem instead of solution.
At times we talk less, we are often misunderstood because people around may not get what we really want to convey.
Therefore, be careful with every word we say – less or more, because WORDS are POWERFUL.

Stolen from somebody’s note on Facebook. All credits to the author. I simply like the way the author perceives things that happen in his life. ‘Though he’s uncertain.
Maybe…God wanted us to meet the wrong people before meeting the right one so that, when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift.
Maybe…when the door of happiness closes, another opens; but, oftentimes we look so long at the closed door that we don’t even see the new one which has been opened for us.
Maybe…it is true that we don’t know what we have got until we lose it, but it is also true that we don’t know what we have been missing until it arrives. Read the rest of this entry »

I didn’t vote for President Noynoy Aquino last May 2010. I don’t even like him as President of the Philippines because of some reasons. However, since he was chosen by the majority (that’s democracy) I have to accept that he is now the President of our Republic. Read the rest of this entry »

24 Jun 2010We are living in a community where relationship is one of the most valuable things in life. This relationship can be between family members, partners, lovers, friends, colleagues, church members, civic organizations and the like. We value relationship so much that we try to keep it no matter how much it takes. We avoid hurting others in our actions and our words. We make others feel special – we surprise them, we give them gifts, etc. We show care and concern. We protect each others’ interest. We initiate activities that will bond us and make our relationship stronger. We do anything just to make others happy and feel good about themselves. Some times, we’re trying to please everyone.
