			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Our HR officer conducted a training, &#8220;One Minute Manager&#8221; last Monday to the managers in our company. The training is based on the book One Minute Manager by Kenneth Blanchard. We discussed the three secrets of a One Minute Manager which are:</p>
<ul>
<li>One Minute Goal Setting</li>
<li>One Minute Praising</li>
<li>One Minute Reprimand</li>
</ul>
<p>To apply the concept of one-minute goal setting, we were asked to write our goals in less than 250 words. Three things first popped in my mind.</p>
<ol>
<li>To achieve</li>
<li>To be rich</li>
<li>To be happy<span id="more-345"></span></li>
</ol>
<p>&#8216;Though the three things above are not the one I&#8217;ve written in the form that they gave (because my fellow managers were saying that what we need to write are company goals and not personal goals), I still want to share the reasons behind the three.</p>
<p><strong>To Achieve.</strong> Achievement spells Accomplishment. And being able to accomplish every single task means achieving a goal or fulfilling a plan. Wherein every employee should achieve every goal being set by the company and by himself. If a person feels accomplished or he feels he&#8217;s an achiever, he&#8217;ll keep doing things and improving.</p>
<p><strong>To Be Rich. </strong>When a company hits its target revenue, this would mean bonus, salary increase, party, celebration and the like.  Continuously hitting target revenue makes the company a rich. When the company is rich, then the employees should follow.</p>
<p><strong>To Be Happy. </strong>Achieving and being rich isn&#8217;t enough. No matter how rich you are and how much you if you&#8217;re not happy, it doesn&#8217;t make any sense. This means that it is also important to ensure that employees are happy about their work, about their lives.</p>
<p>Simple goals, isn&#8217;t it? (oh, I&#8217;ve exceeded 250 words <img src='http://rubhee.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> )</p>
